Google Cloud's enterprise agent discovery platform — the closest thing to an "A2A app store" for the enterprise.
Why It Matters
A2A gives you the protocol, but enterprises still need a place to find, vet, and manage agents. Agentspace fills that gap with an Agent Gallery that provides a centralized view of all available agents across your organization. Partners can publish A2A-compliant agents directly. This is where decentralized Agent Cards meet centralized enterprise governance.
Strengths
- Agent Gallery provides a single pane of glass for discovering agents across the org
- Partners can publish A2A agents, creating a growing ecosystem
- Integrates with Google Cloud IAM for access control and audit trails
- Shows a credible vision for how enterprise A2A discovery should work
Limitations
- Google Cloud-only — no multi-cloud story yet
- Partner ecosystem is still building; the gallery feels sparse today
- Pricing model is unclear and likely to evolve
- Tightly coupled to Google's Gemini stack — not a neutral marketplace
Risks
- Google's graveyard of killed products makes long-term commitment risky — Agentspace could be deprecated if agent strategies shift
- "Enterprise A2A discovery" is a vision, not a shipping product — the gallery is sparse and most agents are demos
- Deep Gemini coupling means this is less "open A2A marketplace" and more "Google's agent store with A2A as a feature"
- Pricing will inevitably be bundled with Google Cloud commitments, making cost evaluation nearly impossible
